Consumer FamilyConsumer Small Loan Program

Penn Security Bank is pleased to offer a low-cost Consumer Small Loan Program* for the purchase of household items for qualified Homeowners or Renters.  This program is available to prospective borrowers who qualify as low to moderate income borrowers and apply through Penn Security Bank.  Eligibility will be based on household income.

  • Assists low to moderate income borrowers:
         Lackawanna County––$56,500** | Luzerne County––$56,500** | Monroe County––$66,200**
         **Borrowers household income may not exceed 80% of the median income listed above
  • Available to qualified Homeowners and Renters
  • Offering below market interest rate
  • Purchase household items such as: washers, dryers, refrigerators, beds, etc. (luxury items excluded)
  • Loan Term up to 5 years
